Exclamation ive made up my mind on a killer setup...input?

i made up my mind zo6 wheels on my trans am...just one problem is where to get them and tell me if this set up will work

17 / 8.5 in front with 265
18 / 9.5 in rear with 295_____or should i go with 18 /10.5 with a bigger tire?

will they just bolt on like my stock wheels and tires or will i have to get something else to make it all work?

thx for the input guys

Those will bolt right up with the right offsets. But, you should lower the car at the same time, it will look killer. PM me and I can get you a killer deal on Z06 wheels

I would go with 10.5 out back with a 295 and try to stick with a 275 up front if possible.

295's are not recommended for a 9.5" wheel . . .

My opinion on replica ZO6 wheels:
Front - 17x9.5 with 275/40/17 or 18x9.5 with 275/35/18, +50mm to +53mm offset
Rear - 18x10.5 with 295/35/18 or 315/30/18 (check to make sure your tire manufacturer allows 315 on 10.5 wheel, e.g. Michelin Pilot Sport and PS2), +50mm to +53mm offset

Ideally you'd go less offset, but that's not an option with ZO6 wheels at this time.

do the 9.5 & 10.5 combo...its a much better fit/look that what you have listed. The 265s generally look silly up front on a fbody, even more so on the bigger fender'd TAs. so 9.5 275s up front and 10.5 295s out back

For real...265's look ridiculous, don't do it.

You'll be fine, my car is lowered with eibach prokit and I have Hooker longtubes. You'll NEED to lower your car after the wheel/tire combo to look good.

275s in front, my 295s in back rubbed (after a rear alignment--get it first) so I banged the inner fenderwell with a hammer.

I currently have 245's all around and I dont think they look bad at all, so I am not sure why 265's would look "ridiculous"

because 245-45s are the same height as stock and 265-40s are shorter

Why not go with 18's all the way around?

Speaking of which...what are the pros and cons with going on a 9.5 versus 8.5 versus 10.5 on all sides for daily driving?

ok im gona do 18" wheels all around BUT!

ive got an important question: I cant afford to loose any more ground clearence but I also want to lower my car, now my TA came with stock 17" wheels and if i move to 18" all around wont that allow me to lower my car an inch with out looseing any ground clearance???

any feed back is really appreciated guys, if this sounds unclear let me know and ill try to make it sound more understanding

Check my sig for my old set up. I had 18x9.5 up front with 275/35/18 and 18x10.5 out back with 285/35/18. With the right tire size, you will not sacrifice any ride height.

front: 18" 9.5 wheel with 285 tire
rear: 18" 9.5 wheel with 285 tire

with this added inch off the ground because of the wheels am I safe to lower my ride an inch and still have the same amount of ground clearence?

Oh yea will this setup look good and most importantly will this setup just bolt right on without any mods?
