Default Zr1 Or Weld???

IM LOOKING AT GETTING 4 NEW RIMS FOR BASICALLY DRAG RACING. RIGHT NOW I HAVE AMERICAN RACING REBELS ON THE CAR AND LOVE THE WAY THEY LOOK. BUT I DONT WANT TO SPEND THAT MUCH CASH TO GET 2 18X10 WITH DRAG RADIALS. WOULD I BE BETTER OFF GETTING A SET OF BLACK ZR1's 17x9 and 17x11?? or should i just get some weld prostars??? also i have heard that you have to do lots of modifying with the weld rims?? what all do i have to do? i dont want to be doing alot to my car and if the zr1's are easier to install then ill just go with those. thanks

Get the Welds, they are much lighter and all you have to do to get them to fit is grind the calipers a little.

Apples & oranges here. ZR1 wheels are heavy stock style rims for normal everyday drving. Weld ProStars are lightweight rims intended for drag racing only. Grinding the front caliper to make Welds fit is kinda normal, where as ZR1s fit like the stock rims.

I would get the welds. They are much lighter than the ZR1'S. You will have to do a little grinding but it will be worth it.

For the back are you going to get the 15x8 or 15x10? You should probably stick with the 15x8 and a 275/50/15 Nitto DR. Also, go with the 5.5in back spacing with the 15x8's.

if i can i think it would look cool to get a 15x10 with a 325/50/15 but i dont know if it will fit. how tall can i go on the tire size???

i like the nitto dr for the street but as far as the strip goes, i will get either bfg or mickey.
