Had this happen before to me. The road was erroded from a heavy rain and hidden over the crest of a hill. I went to the DOT and then to the state and they cut me a check. I had to supply pics of the hole(s) and the wheels with receipts or replacement est.

That sucks man... that had to hot hard. Those OE Z06 wheels are SOLID. I nailed a ton of serious holes with them and never got anything.

Go and take pictures of the holes and any signage that was there, NOW! If you don't take the pictures, you run the risk of them putting up warning signs which would most likely screw you outta your $$$$!

Well, most likely no. That's like going to McDonalds and ordering a Big Mac with no lettuce. You get your burger, then eat the whole thing. Then you tell them that there was indeed lettuce on it, and you hand them the empty wrapper...and now you want a free one

You should try and ask some of the board members in the Texas section if they could possibly go to that location and take some pics for you.

Default no luck so far

I haven't had any luck so far with the contractor, the state of texas doesn't give a sh*t, neither does the contractor, they just keep transfering me to voice mail and not returning my calls, how funny. I might do something crazy, any ideas?

By the way, if you look up wheel repair you'll be able to find a shop that will straighten them for about $50 a wheel.

tell the state dept if they dont resolve the matter, you will bomb them.

keep trying, and be stern/pissed off with whoever you talk to.

You must have really been hauling to have gotten the rears too. That sucks man, but hopefully the state will pay for them.

This place in Houston does it for about $129 per rim.

It doesn't look too bad. You might be able to hammer them out. I've fixed my TTII rims several times, but your lips look a lot beefier. I'm surprised a chunk wasn't broke off. If the lips are fairly soft and flexible, you should be able to straighten it yourself as long as you take care to not hammer directly on the rim.

If you can find a place that will do it for around $50, then go that route.

That hurts! I've bent my stock WS6 rims on the metal plates they cover holes with.

Good luck getting things taken care of.
