Tires For C6 Wheels?

Tires For C6 Wheels? I just picked up a set of chrome C6 wheels for the SS. The rears are a 19x10 and the fronts are 18x8.5 and I wanted to know what you guys think of these tire sizes. I was thinking a 285/30/19 in the back and a 265/35/18 up front. Is this a safe combo for these wheels?
Im asking because I tried to squeeze a 275/35/18 on an 8.5" wheel that I have now, and its giving me all kinds of problems. I really screwed my self

Wow you paid 40 dollars less than I did! Good buy!I'm going with the stock size on the front 245/40-18 and 295/35-19 on the rear. But I don't see why the sizes you mentioned wouldn't work from what others on this board have said.

trust me, get 255/40/18 in front and 295/30/19 in rear.
you can only choose pirelli p-zero rosso's, or continental contisport2.michelin pilot sport2, im not sure. plan to spend at least 1250.
ahhh, in the end its worth it.

You may be able to come out cheaper by going with the stock sizes. Probably closer to $800.00 depending on the brand. As always, check ebay.
