I run 17x11 wheels when I autocross, and I have G2 springs. Those are about as low as an Eibach kit (but they're stiffer and don't suck ).
I got rubbing on the inside, which I cured with a 7/32" wheel spacer (and longer studs). I also had problems with the outer fender, so I used one of those nifty Eastwood tools to roll the fender. No more rubbing.
The BFH mod will work for you fine if you don't use a spacer. Just keep an eye on the outer fender lip.
What offset are your 11's?

The spacers aren't going to give me any problems. Like I said, I only run the 11's when I autocross, and if I don't use the spacers, the tires rub the inner fenders in the rear, and the wheels rub the spindle dimple in the front.
