335's need a 12" rim. Which are not common. They will stick out. Here's a track car with 335's all the way around:

They start looking like go carts when you're that wide.

As wide as you can in the rear look good as long as they don't stick out to far. On the front they look like go carts when you go 315's and over. If your doing this to get on the oval track thats fine but for regular street driving it would suck. the handling would suck.

2 reasons
1. 315s can fit in the back of 4th gens with just a bit of finessing. any wider and you will have problems or have the tires stick out alot. some 315s(certain brands) are more prone to rubbing
2. 315s can fit on an 11in rim. those are semi-regulary available from various sources for fairly cheap for some(TT2s).

i would love to have 335s out back and 315s up front for road racing, but that takes rolling fenders and alot of "finessing"

I have 335's and they rub sometimes, if you are going to lower your car you need to mini tub it for 335's. Which I should be doing this summer.

I also run the 335s lowered 2" and had to do alot of work to the rear fenderwells to make it work.

From an aesthetic standpoint the more tire in the back the it looks. But for most of us, its too much work to hack up the fenderwells to fit anything larger than 315s.

And that Camaro is SICK. Never seen 335s up front before its definatley got a mean stance.

ive herd 335s will fit a 11" rim but they wont get any more rubber on the ground as you do with the 315s this true?

You will need a 12" wheel to get the 335 to mount right.

Yes you need al LEAST a 12" rim to run the 335s. I've seen folks try to force them on a 10.5 or 11 rim and they bulge at the sides and have a contact patch more like a motorcycle LOL. But yeah I run a 12" rim and they are no taller than my 295/35/18s up front. Very low profile.

I bet that looks good, but really low profile tires can mess up your rims pretty bad.. especially if you're riden around with low psi

There is no Buldge with an 11 inch rim. a 10.5 does not look right, but there is absolutely no reason you cannot run a 335 on an 11 inch rim. A 12" rim would be better, yes.

What rim are you going to use? I was thinking of putting 335 or 345's on the rear of may car but I think the minitub kit will be required for the 345's. I have seen a few cars with the 335's and they look awesome.

I was planning on going to a 345 tire but I checked up on maufacturers recommended rim size and it's the same for a 335 or 345 (12") So I don't know it it's worth spending $ on getting my current wheels widened since it isn't necessary...
