About 3 weeks ago i started a poll, to see what color i should powercoat my rims, and well you guys made up my mind. You can fin the thread here...

So....I Gave the T/A a full detail about a week ago, wash, clay, wax, polish. Most products used where Mother's and Meguires. Since the weather in Cali, has been seeing its fair share of rain I didnt want to pull my car out of the grarge.
Now on to the good stuff. I Got myself a powercoating kit, for around 200$ and came with most of the supplys that i needed for my job. I like doing most of the work on my car myself, its a bit expensive at times but it was ALL worth it in the end!
I bought Charcoal Metallic powercoat and went to work on my rims. I stripped them using Aircraft remover, this took some time becasue i wanted to make sure that they are perfect b/f i did the coating. Remember guys painting or powercoating, the prep is the most important part of this job!
I Left the rim with the clearcoat on it so that i didnt have to mess with painting it, obiviously thats the look I was going for. Used high temp tape and masked the areas off that i didnt want to be done. The process took me about 2 days to do all 4 rims. I went slow, so it took some more time. Overall you can see the results. I think they came out great! If you want more detail on the entire process just shoot me a PM sometime.
They came out 99.9% perfect. They look prefesionally done. No joke.
I will get better pictures with time. Enjoy guys, my rims now look like there worth 2-3k, but in reality its more like 1k. All sugestions are welcome.
