Default New Center Caps - 02 Ta Wheel

Just wondering if anyone knows if I can get polished center caps for this wheel. The stock center caps bubbled up on these they year I bought it and GM wanted me to pay for it, wasn't covered under warranty!!! Kind of pissed. So I thought I'd repaint them with a high temperature gloss black. Nope, that didn't work they bubbled up again. Now, my only hope is to maybe find some center caps that are just high polished or something. This is on a 2002 Trans Am WS.6 I've talked to other people with these kind of wheels, and a lot of them don't seem to have this problem. I guess I got lemon caps

I might just end up getting new wheels, but I don't have the $$$ for the wheels I want.

I know the Comp Ta came with these type of wheels...

Also, anyone know where I can get high polished nuts for these wheels(not chrome)?

You can put a decal over the centercap. Just an idea, better than bubbling.

How... I'm guessing the wheel gets hot, it must... First the stock decal started with tiny little bubbles in it. Second, I took the decal off, painted the center caps with a gloss high degree paint. Now some of the painted ones have tiny bubbles in them. The one wheel I took the picture of doesn't have the problem. I'll show the cap that does...my cameras not the greatest but you can see the tiny bubbles. It happens to the back wheels mostly.

And no those aren't niks from stones... Prolly just going to buy new wheels down the road

Suprised to see no one else has this problem

When you painted them what kid of prep work did you do? Maybe it's just peeling away from the cap. People put decals on their calipers all the time I can't see why the decals for the center caps wouldn't hold up. I would try a decal. Check out this place. I've always gotten good stuff from him
