Default Weld wheels on front....how wide? 15x3.5 or15x5 or 6

I was wondering how wide of a weld wheel you can put on the front of a 98 T/A. I am going to have them on the car at all times and was wanting to know if a 15x5 or 15x6 would work. If so what backspacing and off set would I need.

Thanks

This is on an LTI, so I didn't have to do any grinding. I'll see if I can find some pics.

I have 15x6 on the fronts with the prostars with about one hours worth of grinding. Pretty simple actually.

I have 15x3.5's on mine. I just ran a 5/8" spacer to avoid having to grind.

just to let you know, since you are looking to run these on the street (thats what I take All the Time as) then you need to know that front runners (skinies) up front on a car that corners tend to break. A drag racing rim is toetionaly designed to take the stress and abuse of a straight line shot but not have heavy side loads on them (such as a car cornering) they will break or crack, eventully. Iv never run drag rims on the street but others have and have been "fine" so far and others have cracked rims, which put them and others on the road in danger and they had to cough up the money to get yet anotehr set of rims. Just wanted to make sure you knew of this before you bought rims and tires

ya thats correct ^^^ but if you use your head this wont happen. but if you're stupid and try to take a turn at 60mph then yes this kind of stuff will happen but almost all the guys on here have been fine seeing as they dont try this kind of stupid stuff.

Yeah, the car isn't going to be driven a lot anyhow. Ecspecially now that it has a th-350. I have driven on 3.5's on the street and have been fine with them. But was wanting something a little wider. But thanks for the concern.
