Better traction than my 335's??
I get no traction with my 335 Michilen Pilot Sports. I'm thinking a drag radial might be what I'm looking for but have never had any. Would a 315 drag radial hook up considerably better than my tires now? What brand would you recommend. I don't drive in the rain and don't really need them to last forever. Thanks, Steve.

Why all drag radials not speed rated? "Due to their high grip tread compound g-Force T/A Drag Radial tires are not speed rated."

I sent that guy (on ebay) an email about that ad .. he apologized for the wrong picture being up there. 315/35/17 BFG DR's are the "old school" tread .. not the new style pictured in the auction

I just recently bought a set of the 315 BFGs for 17" wheels and they are the old tread pattern. I am 99.9% positive that tread pattern only comes on 18" drag radials. They are also labeled under a different name. Either way I have heard excellent things about each but don't have any personal experience as I have just bought them and they aren't even mounted yet.
Other options are the Hoosier in a 315 or a 335 (which I can't seem to find anything out about) and the Nittos, which I have run exclusively since '99 but wanted to try something different, hence buying the BFGs.

These look pretty bad ***, is any drag radial street legal? http://www.lethalperformance.com/pag...ag-radial.html

If it says D.O.T. on the sidewall it's street legal. However, that tire and other tires that are practically slicks are not recommended for highway use because they will wear very quickly.
