Can't wait for the 315/35/17...

I just spoke with a rep from Mickey Thompson and he stated a March/April release date. He also stated with the new tread design and approx 6.5/32s tread depth should help those who may get caught in some rain. Not great but an improvement over present design.

Yup, they will definitely be better in the wet than the current tread pattern Thompsons. But they are still an extremely large block DR, so don't expect GS D3 rain performance!

What other sizes are they coming out with? Any 18"s like 315/30/18 for example?

Just called M/T they sayed end of march early april they will be out. No price yet. Part # is 3744R 315/35/17!!!!

Those are Nitto NT555R's with the middle part edited.

Take a closer look at the tire in Photoshop...

I duno, looks like the same tread pattern with the middle blocked out with a healing brush in Photoshop. I do see what looks like "ET Street" on the side but if it wasn't edited then why does the picture look so funny?

If it isn't, great, it will probably be my next tire. But the two look a little "too" similar to me. Maybe they just looked at Nitto's tire and thought "hey that's a good idea, let's incorporate that into ours"...
