Default 15x 12 welds?

my old mans got 15x12 rims that i want on my car i was wondering if anyone has that on an ls1 to see if they would fit with a stock rear.

Measure the backspacing on them. Anything 12" wide is going to be tough to fit under an Fbody. I'm guessing they will probably stick out pretty far though.

looks like there about 5 or 6in back space.

They'll be sticking out roughly 3.5 to 4.5" past the fender on a stock rearend.

It's been done already but not on a stock width rearend. Like he said above be prepared for the tire to stick out a couple of inches past your fender.

If you were just gonna use them at the track it might be one thing. I wouldn't want to drive with them every day and have people laughing at me.

well my next mod is a new rear think im gona fo with strange im not sure if i should narrow it or not i have no idea how bad they would stick out it was just an idea!

Might as well bolt them up and see what they look like. It'll give you an idea of how much to narrow the rearend if you choose to go that route with your new rearend.

While it would definately look good with 15x12s out back, it is costly to have the tubs put in and done right. I don't remember how much if anything they charge to narrow a rear when you buy one.

Ordered my Moser 9" today from Exotic Performance Plus and it was at the most $50 more to have it narrowed.
