Default 94-96 Corvette Sawblades on a F-body?

Anyone have any pics of this? Has anyone had issues with them having the wrong type of offset and them sticking out too far? I searched, but couldn't find any pics or posts about it.

as far as I know.. they'll fit fine..
and I know you arent asking for opinions... but they wont look good. I would keep your stockers before I'd put those on my car. JMHO.

The only thing I've heard that would legitimately stop me from buying a set is that the way the offset is done, they'll stick out from under the fender..that's my main concern.

still not asking for opinions...

the corvette wheels are almost allways a larger offset, meaning they will look sunkin in, so you would run into the problem of them hitting the inner wheel well, not sticking out to far. i dont think they would look bad. with a F body anything different is almost better as it seems like everyone has zo6, c5 or c6 wheels now. i think the reason some will scoff at putting these wheels on a newer f body is that the common trend is to put the newer wheels on an older car, not the other way around. i say do what YOU like, not what everyone else likes, damn what everyone else thinks. that being said, ide like to see how these look on an F body, with the proper offset i bet it would look mean!

I've seen a 95 with them, they seemed to fit fine, could possibly need a little spacer..

I actually thought it looked kinda cool.

depends on the how large the offset difference is. the biggest spacer i would ever consider using is 8mm, or 1/4 inch roughly. any more than that and i would look into some adaptors, there alittle safer than spacers becouse they dont put anymore stress on the lugnuts. would you be putting them on the silver bird in your sig? if so they are going to look killer!

ya spacers would fix them being "sunken in"... If you need wider then qtr inch. Get the "adapter spacers" for sure. I've ran a couple different 1inch adapter spacers and have had zero problems.

yea, those are the ones.

Thanks for the information. When I find a set of sawblades for sale, I'll remember to get a set of adaptors also.

i would wait on the adaptors until after you get the wheels mounted with whatever size tires youll run, so you can get the offset perfect.

The Corvette Wheels have 56mm offset while the F-Body wheels have 50mm offset(factory). All you need is a spacer to get them to stick out 6mm and be same size as a F-body wheel. Also Corvette wheels are 17x9.5 were as F-body are 17x9(factory).

Smoke Panther here's a link, maybe he still got 'em. Sawblades 56mm should be correct for the F-Body. That's what the offset is on the front of mine.

Wow, that's a terrific deal...however he said they're for pick-up only. I'm still going to try and email him to see if I can convince him to ship it

I say do it, I'm looking at the 16" sawblades now 8.5 front, 9.5 rear just cause I want the performance of wider wheels and I'm somewhat on a budget, it's only going to be temporary but I can imagine them painted flat black and my car lowered on them, I think it would give me the stance I want plus I'm so sick of seeing 18"+ new corvette wheels on f-body. It's been done, we get it.

I've seen people use the early C4 16x9 "discs" for open tracking/road racing/auto-x, so that they could use the few 265 or 275/45 16 R compound tires out there. I KNOW EVERYONE ON HERE will think that "looks like ***", but it actually looks kinda cool, even though they are NOT doing it for the "Gpimpbling" factor.
They do it to avoid spending BIG $$$$$ on a set of custom CCWs!!
