JMBLOWN: I'm happy that you're satisfied with the results.

As with any anodized products, be careful to what products are used to clean the areas. A good coat of wax at minimum is a good preventative measure for ease of keeping the wheels look like new. If you are not sure of a product, a good idea is to TEST an area on the backside of the wheel.

You may consider using a product called "zoop seal" for ease of maintainence. Some of our customers have used it with very good results

Heres the 6 year old street RT's that Rich Bogart built for us on my wifes '95 drag radial Mustang. We drive it ALL the time, absolutely NO issues to date. I'm guessing they are a RR design.

Davered, This post is for information regarding our designs. If you or anyone is interested in our products for quotes, we'll be happy to quote you. Please call us or e-mail us with your specifications. It is too difficult to quote something to someone without knowing how their car is setup or goals they are attempting to obtain.[/QUOTE]

I've sent several e-mails & tried pm's with no response.

David,

We have replied to every one of our e-mails. If you have AOL, you're e-mails may be in your junk mail folder. We do not have PM's turned on as it is too difficult to follow them for us.

I know this post has faded but as far as customer service. I haven't received much better customer service EVER, than when I purchased my D10's a while back from Steve. As far as SFI, people are drilling holes in there kirkeys, taking out bumper supports door bars, abs and God knows much more. Decide what you want out of a car. If people want a street car with skinnies OK, just be careful, you'll be in the slow lane in the rain, and keep it at home if it snows. Some of us spend a lot of money to get the best, to have the lightest, and to look the best with those in mind.

As far as comparing tire weights, whats' the point, you can run any tire you want. Tires are another subject.

Bogarts resale is excellent, unlike prostars and the other jegs wheels you can pick up for $500. The money is spent for a reason. And I see them on the street at the local night racing. There are no trailers and there are no complaints or problems I hear of any of his wheels so far.

I recently got a set and love them. Steve is very knowledgable and helpful. I would even think about using any other wheel, these are the only ones that fit without modification.

Steve i have a quick question. I am sick and tired of shank style lug nuts. they are a pain in the *** so im going with a 5/8 " stud with an acorn style lug nut w/ a small spacer. I am running your d10's. How does this sound and what would you recommend? thanks Charles

Silverbeast,

What makes you feel like a shank style lug-nut is diffucult to use? 5/8" studs are a different design all together, they are not acorn styled like an OEM 60 deg. tapered lug.

I'm very happy with the customer service I have received from SJM and will continue to enjoy their products. I have to agree that white 98 formula looks dope on the Bogarts !

Here's mine:

Because i have messed the threads up on a couple of studs. turns out the lug nut needed to have an open end to work with my longer studs and i didnt realize it until i had messed up a couple of them. I have to replace them anyway so i was going to get bigger ones and a buddie of mine is running the 5/8 " ones on his car. He broke all his studs off at the track and the wheel flew off so thats why he went that big.
