Fikse Fitment

Fikse Fitment
Well there is some guy who is selling some Fikse's locally, and I'm curious about the size and fitment on a 4th gen Camaro. I'm rather ignorant about wheels, so I figured I'd post it up here.
To my knowledge, they are 18x12 in the rear. Will they fit? What offset will I need? Will I need spacers etc? Thanks, and sorry for my lack of knowledge on this subject

well i'd call fikse and get some info first.
Ask the guy if he'll give you the serial # off all the wheels. I'm sure this will tell fikse whether or not these wheels will fit your required offset.
I don't think Fikse gives out offsets because they guarantee fitment. So call them.

18x12 sounds like it is coming off of a Vette...that might pose a problem. I had a hard enough time fitting 18x11s in the back on my Camaro, but I wanted them to tuck in tight.

But I think that I will give Fikse a shout...I don't want to drop down a bunch of money on something I can't use...and are all the offsets the same?

I don't know for sure, but when I ordered my CCWs, I was told that the Vettes and F-bodies indeed use a different offset...I could have ordered a Vette offset for my Camaro, but I would have had to run a spacer to get them to fit right.
I think you'll have a VERY difficult time getting an 18x12 in a Vette offset to fit.

Hmmmm. So could I run with a spacer? I believe he has 10 inch ones as well...Would there still be a problem, considering they are for a Corvette (i'm presuming at least).

I asked the same question to Xsta a few weeks back and he made a very good point. It's not worth spending that much money on a set of wheels that you are going to have to make fit. I bought a set of 17/9.5. 17/11 FM5's full polished off here in F-body offsets and I am VERY happy with them.

Classics, in 17" diameters are around $700 a peice. The Profils in 18" diameters are in the $1,000 each . . .
I guess exactly what sizes is he selling . . . . ?
Are you saying he has 18" x 10" and 18" x 12" ???

I called the fellow up the other day. He is a racer, and I suppose he has a few sets which he's trying to get rid of. I'll get more information when I talk to him next, although, I would suppose, if he has two sets that is, that he has 4 fronts (18 x 10) and four rears (18 x 12).
Maybe the fronts would fit all around?

theres a few guys on here with the 18x12 z06 rims made for the f body. i think they are all 58mm offsets and all the ones ive seen except one isnt lowered. the lowered one has offset control arms and mini tubs. if your willing to put the work it to it then do it.
