The Ultimate F-Body Street Tire !!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I just got my new meats put on, Goodyear Eagle F1s. They have a V-tread design, that looks insain driving down the road. My brother said that the front end got off the ground a little when I accelerated, so traction was no problem what so ever. As for terms of longevity, I obviously do not know cause I just got them, but the sure as hell will last longer than Nittos or BFGoodwrench Drag Radials. To sum it all up, get these tires.

Check out the new Nitto Extreme-R road racing tire. The only size they currently make is 275/40/17
Basically the same compound as a drag radial, but with stiffer sidewalls. I have a pair on the back of my Camaro. These suckers hook like drag radials too

To be more specific he is speaking of the Goodyear Eagle f1-gs-d3. Nothing like the f1 that came stock on these cars. New tread design, sticky, and cool looking.
The Nitto 555RII road race tire will wear out more quickly than its drag radial brother.

I have f1 gs d3's on all four corners. I've had mine on for about 6,000 miles and they seem to be holding up well at least well for my kind of driving. But what I love the most is how they corner 25mph corners at 60 all day long

How do they hook out of the whole. They look like a good wet weather tire but what about when you don't have your et streets, will these hook like my nittos?

Just got them put on, only on the back. I might goto the track tonight and test them even though they arnt worn in. They feel like they grip alot harder than GS-C's(for what thats worth). And in fast cornering the front comes loose before the rear now
definate recommendation on these

Guys,
good discussion here. Looks like I know which street tires I'll be buying next
We are pretty tough customers who set the bar high. If you think stock F1's suck, you should ride in a car with some REALLY shitty tires. F1's are not bad tires when you look across the whole spectrum, but then again we are a hard to please crowd.
Jimmyblue, looks like you need to put in some wrench time! I can't stand it when the parts sit on my garage shelf more than a day or so. I gotta bolt them on.
What's up with the guy who is "unfortunately" in Texas now? He can get his *** kicked for less than that down here. I'm a transplant and know to mind my P's and Q's when talking to native Texans.
