Default Best place to buy OEM wheels?

I am looking to get another set of 16" chrome wheels for my Formula. I know most companies sell "replica" wheels. If I can't find OEM wheels at a reasonable price, are replica wheels just as good? Thanks.

I doubt you will find the stock 16" Firebird wheels in a replica. They usually go pretty cheap because people upgrade from them.

I'm not sure how much you're looking to spend, or even if these are the wheels you are looking for, but these are chrome 16s on my T/A, and I'm going to be looking for something bigger this winter. If this is something that may interest you, let me know, because I will be trying to sell them.

Finishline wheels, there prices on silver aren't too bad, but the chrome wheels are a bit pricey.. They have OEM and replica..

Any experience with their chrome wheels? Should I get OEM or Replica (OEM seems cheaper).

Is that price per wheel or for a complete set?

I think that their prices are "per wheel", however if I read their website correctly, most of their inventory is used and "reconditioned".....Read the fine print carefully.

Ok, NOW I am confused!

I call two different dealers, they ask for my VIN number (tells them the wheels are chrome), but they asked for 3 more letters on the wheel???

The car came with 16" chrome wheels. They tell me the system is asking for either single ring (RRN) or dual ring (DAD). Where would I find that???

Now, I check gmpartsdirect. When I plug in 1997 Firebird, I am given 2 choices for the 16x8 5-stars (painted, or chrome).

Thanks!

If you are looking for the ones like I have they will be avaliable as soon as my TT2 come in. PM me if you want them. You can have them for cheap.
They are the stock chrome 16" rims (OEM). ONLY catch is you have to take the tires too.

Just buy them local off the boards, look hard enough and your bound to find a set. Also Craigslist is a great place to look, most people that get after market wheels dont want to keep their stock wheels.

Question Single ring vs dual ring?

Does anyone know what the difference is between a single-ring or dual-ring wheel? Pictures would be great. Thanks

Ok, now I have two different part numbers:

9593122 (RRN)
9593303 (BAD)

Still trying to figure out where RRN or BAD appears on the wheel. Thanks

EDIT: My wheel appears to have a lip around the opening for the hub. What does that mean?

Ok, took the tire off, and could not find BAD or RRN anywhere on the wheel.

How can I tell if mine is a single-ring or dual-ring? Thanks!
