lug nuts 1/2" thread with threads on outside?

I was wondering if anyone knows of lug nuts that are 1/2" thread but have the threads on the outside so I run my stock center caps when I street drive with my stock wheels?

Aside from the original GM ones, those are the only ones I can think of off hand. Most aftermarket ones dont utilize threads and are made for bling not to cover up the bling.

search open ended lug nuts on ebay. search for your thread pitch, etc.

Yes I know this is an old thread but since most of the old threads I find when searching do not have answers I figured I'd post one. 98-2010 crown Victoria's use 1/2 20 lugnuts with external threads to retain center caps or lug cap covers.

So... I ordered lug nuts for a 98 crown vic. They fit my new axle studs, but the outer threads are too large for stock 98 Z28 center caps. Has anyone found a combination that works (1/2 20 axle studs with stock center caps) ?
