Default Whos ZR1 rims are these?

This is the perfect Zr1 rim IMHO... I want 17x9.5 &17x11 chrome ZR1 rims but I want the ones with a deep lip like the attached pic. BTW...these are for my 99 SS!

Oh yeah, all the fake ones have a different shape to the end of the spokes. Real 17x11's have a deep lug area, as do some of the fakes. All that have bigger lips are fakes. I must say, those fakes posted in this thread are kinda nice.

I think the 17x11's without the deep lugs look alot better. Did GM ever make a 17x11 ZR1?

GM made a 17x11, it had the deep lugs and was used on the ZR1 and GS. I think they look better, and they have a better offset for Camaros.

There are two different offsets of the 17x11 "ZR1" wheel. The Grand Sport Offset and the ZR1 offset. The deeper lug look was of the ZR1, and the shallow was for the GS. That's why it's said that the GS offset seems to fit better then the ZR1 offset.

Are you sure? I though the GS had the deep lugs too? The last set of GS wheels I saw, Corvette logo and all had the deep lugs.

We need Tom Z on here. I am looking for a price on the new deep dish wheels in Silver. 17x11, and 17x9.5 I suppose. All i really want is a pair of 17x11 silver wheels to replace my rear wheels with since I already have a set of GM 17x9's all the way around.

Tomzwheels carries both types. I believe when I did the research on mine the "Fat Lip" ZR1s are made by OE Concepts. I intended to order those but Tomz was backordered for 6-8 weeks and my car was without wheels. Tomz hooked me up with a brand called "Factory Reporoductions" because they could get those immediately. They are the "deep lug" version (which is what GM's original design looked like).

Tomz Wheels is on back order for the silver ZR1's. I have been pm'ing them for a few months to check and see when they are due in. I think it will be a while, but when they do arrive i will be getting the silver ones with a quickness.

Those posted in the 1st post are not the same ones that Tomzwheels caries. Those are manufactured and sold by an Ebay vendor.
