Default What size Nitto FOr My ZR1's

I got a 98 camaro with zr1 wheels. looking to put nitto nt 555r;s on the back, and debating on what size i should be going with so asking for opinions, should i go with the 275 40 17 or go with a 315 35 17. no too sure if those are the correct sizes but i know they are pretty much within the range. so any suggestions?

mikeys are badass

i could get my nittos to hook ok when i wanted to and i could completely roast them when i wanted to. on the mickeys the car pretty much hooks all the time (on motor at least)

mickeys are to great for daily though, wouldnt wanna get caught in a lot of rain with them and they wear out FAST

Mickey's will hook better but the Nitto is perfect for the street and occasional drag. You can get 15k miles plus out of the Nitto's. Mickeys around 7k LOL.

if the zr1s are 9.5 i would go with the 275 or maybe a 305 but if they are 11 go with the 315 nittos run a little narrow compared to the same size in a diff tire

^^^^^ what he said. if you want you can run a 315 i believe. i have 315 nt01's on my 9.5s and they are wide for 315's. fits without any issues and no spacers

yes you can put a 315 on a 9.5" wheel, you can also drink a bottle of drano, or attempt to pogo stick on water, doesnt make it a good idea
