DPE wheels on Camaro (photos)
Mike (Chuprokabra) got the DPE forged wheels installed today. Nitto Invo tires, 295 wide rears and 275 wide fronts. These wheels are 18x9 fronts and 18x10 rears, the style is called R05-S and they have a brushed/clearcoated face with polished hoops.

I'll sell you the centercaps for $499 a set.
If you want your car to stand out above the rest, sometimes you just have to pull the trigger and spend a little more to get something more unique. Right now, Mike has the only set of these wheels in existence on a 4th gen.

Thanks for the compliments, everyone. Obviously, I'm VERY happy with them.
Thanks to Tony for the hookup on the wheels, to Tomzwheels for the great deal on the tires, and to Thunder Racing for the lugs.
I need a new sig pic.

I just got them, so the jury is still out, but here are my initial impressions. So there is a basis for comparison, I went from 275/40/17 BFG KDW's (KDW, not KDWS) on all four corners to 275/35/18's on the front and 295/35/18 on the back.
Like I said above, the sidewalls are a little soft, and that was the complaint I read on all the negative reviews of these tires. To me, though, that's not a bad thing. This is my fun/cruising car. If I decide to road race, I'll probably get different wheels and tires.
I'll try to remember to post a review of the tires after 1000 miles or so.

- Road noise - The Invos are quieter so far. A lot quieter.
- Comfort - Really good. I like them a lot. I was a little worried about going to a bigger wheel/smaller sidewall, but these are as good if not better than the KDW.
- Grip - Haven't tested...yet.
- Turning/Handling - So far, they haven't broken loose, and I got a little spirited driving home. The sidewall is a little soft for hard cornering.
- Tread pattern - You're either going to love it or hate it. I love it.
- Fit - I used to run 315/35/17's in the back, so my fender wells have already been beaten into submission. The 295/35/18's don't rub AT ALL!
