I wish the Mickeys were made in a 275/50-17. I was thinking that the bigger side wall on the m&h 's would help with hooking. The hoosiers would just be rediculous in the rain so they are out of the question.

I couldn't hook at all with the 275 MT's. Running 325/45/17 M&Hs now. Very pleased with them. I voted M&H.

All depends on how much power you make, gearing, etc. The M&H tires that you have listed are taller than the mickey thompsons.

I know that they are taller which means more side wall which im thinking will help with hooking. They are going on a high stalled nitrous camaro with a 9 inch and 3.50 gear.

A taller tire will give you a bigger foot print as well as more sidewall, etc. I say go with the M&Hs for that setup and see what happens.
