Default can i really fit a 315/35-17 on stock trans am wheels

I've been looking into drag radials and i forget how or where i found the thread but i read on here some one wanted to get 315/35/17 nitto nt555r's on his stock trans am wheels and everyone went back and forth(impossible, daily driven doing it) Can i really do it? I only want to hear from those that have or tried them. Can i really fit 315/35-17 nitto nt555r's drag radials on my stock 2002 trans am ws6? i really love the look of a 315 on the back of an f-body. and if i can do that on my stock rims im going for it(i think the 315 dr's might help shy my eyes away from the previous owner curbing such nice rims) So once again can it be done? any pics?

You are gonna get told that a 315 wont fit on a 9.5 rim. In all actuality it shouldnt go on your rim but it will fit. Not safe and not suggested by very many people at all

I'd ship them off and get them widened to 11" for $200, and then put 315's if you don't plan on getting new wheels!

Only Nitto 315's is what you can fit and be safe. They are more like a 295 or 305. Not a true 315

Absolutely NO . . . End of discussion.

And yes, stock wheels are only 9" wide . . .

Anyone that trys to do this is greatly exceeding the manufacturers limitations.
