Default 4th gen Camaro with TT II,needed pictures

My friend got a 2001 Camaro he got C5 Z06 18s and now he found a buyer with very good price and now hes thinking of TT II 17s I told him for front put 17×7" and rear 17×9.5" but I read somewhere in this forum that 9.5" wont fit without grinding or cutting something I cant remember so is there any back space for the rear ones? and is the size is good for front and rear? he got 295/35/18 for rear and it touchs the body a little bit in cornering he got ride springs from factory so I need pictures of 98+ with TT II 17s and I want to know the best wheel size and back space

There are probably more F-bodies with those than stock wheels. Those & Z06 wheels.

Not true. I've never heard of anyone runnung 17x7, that would be retarted skinny. Most people do 17x9.5 on all 4 corners, or you can do 17x11 rears but a little BFH and fender rolling is sometimes in order (tires would be 275.40.17 for fronts 315.35.17 rears)

yeah, 17x7 is smaller than stock. you'd be running like a 225 tire lol. go 9.5 and 10.5, looks beast from behind with some big rubber

ok there are pictures in the album that kingc8r post I want to know whats the size of the wheels

we dont want something HUGE looking we want something good and we can find cheap tires for them the 315/35/17 is too much expensive in my country we want something like 275/40/17 or little wider in the back and 255/45/17 or 245/45/17 for front that would be good and good for my friends pocket so should we go 17×8" front and 17×10.5" rear?

Those 17x9.5's that he has are 46mm offset. The 17x11's are 45mm offset. American Racing makes these sizes to fit camaro's. You can go 17x 9.5 on all four wheels and use a 255 to 285 size tire range (in 17"). Amercian Racing also makes TTM's that are either chrome, anthracite( grey/silver), or black with polished rims (hoops)..those you can get in 17x9 or 17X10.5, they are slightly less expensive. You will not need to grind anything for these wheels, and if not running 315's then you will not have any problems fitting the tires.

No either 9.5's all the way around or 9.5's up front and 11's in the back. I don't think they make a 17x10.5 with the right backspacing/bolt pattern for our cars.

You got any better pics of the wheels with those drill/slotted rotors? I just ordered a set from the ws6 store, searched all over for pics of TT2's with drilled/sloted rotors but came up empty handed. Just curious how there going to look with TT2's.
