Thinking about the Chevy Xtreme Rims over my Current C5 Vette Rims
FYI, if rim appearance comes before performance then this is not for you. I like most others like looks but I want a good set of rims to maybe replace my mains but def be used at the track and have a decent look. I also want to get back down to 16" or smaller Rim size as well as less weight.
Currently I have these Vette Rims:
I was thinking about switching to S10 Extreme Rims... They are smaller which I like for obvious reasons in line with track playing and they do not look bad. I am not going for flash or commonly seen. I turned down newer Vette Rims and others because I pref to look lower profile, I just do not like that they are 17" front and 18" rear... (Not to mention almost anyone who changes them has so few choices that Newer Vette Rims, SS Rims, etc almost always end up being the choices... nothing original about seeing the same thing over and over.. and aftermarket unless you spend well over 3000 get you heavy wheels which is just stupid... yay I added more rotational mass...)
What does everyone think? Has anyone done this?

Rims, and how they look on a car, to me, is a VERY personal decision. If YOU like them, that's all that matters. However, in the case of putting the Extreme rims on your Camaro, I think they probably will look good, but you better check their offset. In the picture, they look like they're a "standard rear drive" offset, and if so, wont fit the car....

I will def check into that, I was hoping to find someone who has run them.
As for looks if they look really nice I will just run them all the time otherwise they will turn into track tires and rims. I would just like to have something low key but still nice for when I am there or all the time.
And again while I like what I have I just do not like the rim size.

I honestly think they would look horrible. If you're looking for low key why not go with an OEM wheel? I'm almost positive those wheels won't fit your vehicle correctly anyhow. I have a friend with a S10 extreme and he had to run some serious spacers to get Corvette wheels to fit his truck.

Ok whats everyone running for a nice light track rim. Theres some stock 96 Rims in my back yard but I did not really like them lol.
Thanks for the info on the spacing makes it obvious these would not work. Oh well back to looking for something clean thats a 15 or 16 for the track atleast.
