Default any way make stock ws6 rims shine again

I have a 1998 ws6 and my rims on my car have always been in bad condition. Last summer the clear coat on it was cloudy so I took stripper and stripped the clear coat off of it which helped a ton but they are still not shiny like chrome. I have tried alot of polishes to try to brighten them up. Is there any recommendations on how to make them shiny besides having them re-chromed?

Mine are still not bad but I'm looking for some places that will strip the clear, re-polish them and then re-clear. You said "re-chrome" but you know their polished aluminum right?

They will never be as shiny as chrome. That is just the nature of polished wheels. I would say to try to use Eagle One Neverdull.

I'm guessing a small ended buffing wheel and liquid metal polish.

Have you tried a Powerball on a high speed drill? That's what I always do.

Steel wool, 0000 grit. use that with your polish, then wash and polish again normally. I did it all the time for guys around the neighborhood who wanted their rims revived. charged 50 bucks a polish, made bank.
