Default Need Some Wheel Suggestions on Red WS6

Hey guys!

I need some help choosing a wheel for my WS6.. In the near future I hope to be getting some wheels.. so any pics of RED WS6's, or suggestions would be great.
I'm thinking staggered wheels, C6, or C5 Z06's.. Don't know yet! I think TT2's are too common..

Here's my car:

Whats your budget? I would stick with same size front and rear and go with staggered widths.

well here are TT2s on mine... i agree they are very common but i think they are great for what they are. I just had to change from stock until i can afford a set of Fikse in another year or so. It will look much better after i drop the car in the next month or so.

and here is a pic from when i put my roommates black ZR1s just so i could see how black wheels would look on my car.. i have a couple of more pics on my other computer i might post up if you want more.

i think the black ZR1s 17x9.5/17x11 would look killer with your blackbird stripes! Much better than any C5 or C6 vette wheel would look.

I agree on the black 17x9.5 and 17x11 ZR1's. Especially with the blackbird stripes. A friend of mine bought this car a couple years back and it looked sick with the ZR1's. I love the look of black wheels on red T/A's. My old WS6 was Red on Black also. The third post in this for sale ad of his car shows it with them on it but no pictures describe how good it looked in person when it was all cleaned up!!!! No matter what you end up going with, remember to post those pictures!!! Good Luck.

Man if any of you guys get new wheels I got dibs on the old ones
Especially yours Silencer and TXWs6 hahah.

Well I don't plan on getting them anytime soon as I don't have the money right now, but I like to have everything together for when the time comes

The black ZR1's look nice but something about them makes me iffy.. Idk I can't figure it out. They almost look cheap.

And sure I'll take some more pics if you got some!

Yeah that's not a bad idea.. Any wheels in mind? I like the staggered kind.

Why get new wheels? 97-00 WS6 wheels look awesome, unless you just want bigger/wider or yours are messed up. Also, who cares if TT2 are too common, they look great. I personally don't see many with TT2 in my area.

Yeah, the ZR1's do look a lot better in person also and they do run pretty cheap. TomZwheels has them for around $420 for all four wheels in 17x9.5 and 17x11. I have black ZR1's sitting in my room waiting to go onto the black WS6 whenever I can afford new rubber actually!!! lol. But either way I hope you are happy with whatever you end up getting!!

Its going to be really hard to get out of the range of wheels you mentioned and stay competitive on price. You can get in a set of Boyd's w/tires for about $2k and be completely different. Here are some on my old blue car:

These are 17x9.5 and 17x11 Boyd Coddington Rebels.

I agree... If you really want something that isn't "too common" just save the hell out your money and get some custom billet wheels like Intro, Boyds, Bonspeed, ect. It will take longer but definately worth it and would set you apart.

Otherwise, I think a set of Black ZR1s would look pretty good on your car. I've always liked red cars with black wheels

I think it comes down to wanting to look like clean old school muscle (chrome) or just plain mean and badass (black)

Black wheels look cheap to me, reminds me of Civic's and Hi-Po. If you want the classic look on a budget, TTII's are your best bet.

Some black wheels would really compliment the Blackbird stripes!

I Sent you a pm with some links.
