I just received my 15X3.5s and my 15X10s with 7.5" BS from BS. Fronts required a 1/2" spacer OR GRIND (your choice).
The rears don't come anywhere near fitting. MAJOR grinding on the calipers required.
Not going to read this whole thread, just passing on my experience. Don't get me wrong, once the grinding is done, the car will look sick. I just was not expecting such a pain in the @ss. Car is an 01 LS1 with stock calipers and rotors.

OK, so I get all the physics and such, but why can "we" F-Body guys not just run a 16 x 10 rear and a 16 x 3.5 front???
Sure, you lose a little sidewall, but you gain a little, IMHO, appearance wise, there are still plenty of tire choices available, and it should be a tad more stable at high speeds (for the "really quick" cars out there).
Seems like it's a small sacrifice to avoid all this hullaballoo... I'd rock some 16" Drag Wheels... GW's and/or BS's.

i agree there i absolutely love the 16" CCW Drag Packs but there is no way in hell my college student budget will allow me to ever get a set of them at least no where anytime soon

Greg Welds don't fit chit! A month ago I bought the aforementioned 15 x 10 Greg Welds. I tried to bolt them to the rear of my '69 Camaro with 9" Ford and regular ole Wilwood Draglite discs that have been around for 20 years or so. Little tiny brakes and little tiny rotors that clear every other 15" wheels.
I grinded till I got good and sick and tired of it and decided I didn't want to ruin perfectly good brakes to fit a dumbass set of wheels. Called them up and expressed my opinion. 40 yrs of wheel building experience!!! Gee whiz - sounds impressive! So what's the reason for this GIANT screwup??? The guy tries to lay it off on me, saying he can't account for every individual application. I told that dude that this will be a problem all around the country for everyone not running old drum brakes or maybe some early discs or whatever. NOT TO MENTION Gen 4 applications. EVERYBODY is running big brakes nowadays for chissakes! Who would design such a wheel? Somebody OBVIOUSLY screwed up big time - and OF COURSE - that is why they are redesigning that wheel. Because it don't fit much of anything!

so has the 15X3.5 billet specialties been made to fit without any problems with stock ls1 brakes? i want to purchase all at once...

Man a lot of whiners in this thread that don't understand manufacturing costs for 100pcs vs 1,000pcs.
Regardless, as soon as the 17" BS Street Lights are available I'll be picking them up front/rear and also ordering the 15" FBod rears for ET Streets.
I think it'll look sick.
Maybe a 15x3 in the future, but not needed really at this time for me anyhow as the 17" Street Lights will match.

I just gotta set of GW for the wifes new ride. As mentioned before the front 15 x 3.5 fit without issue. Rears are another story, you cannot even remove enough material to get the wheel on. I completely ruined a caliper and mount trying to get them on her 01' Formula. I even tried to mount them up on a friends Impala SS which has much smaller brakes, and in no way are they gonna fit it either. I'm very disapointed for sure.

i do agree i do not like the greg weld rears on camaros i like what you have the prostar rears and greg weld fronts id definately go that route if i dont choose the billet specialties.
can you send me some recent pics of your car from side to side and stuff so i can get a good idea of what it will look like if i decide to go that route?

Also, they look better now, I tossed the wheels on with a spacer, in a hurry to take some pics of it with the new back tires, but now I have clearance the wheel wells, and they tuck in alot better, and dont stick out at all like they did in these pictures, looks way better!
