Default Eagle F1 GS-D3 or g-Force T-A KD

Ive narrowed my choices down to these two tires. I have tried to reasearch and read reviews on them but i figured id ask you guys befre I picked. I was going to go ahead and go with the g-forces but I saw how bad the trwadware was on them! So which is the best tire all around? Or is there an all around better tires in theyre price range?

i have KD's on my SS and i'll tell you the handling of these tires is awesome. I also never had a problem in the rain. Snow means no go but i do not drive in snow anyway. As far as mileage i have about 25,000 miles on my set now and there in need for a change. I rotated them every 5k.IF you want a great handling tire these are the way to go.

I have the F1 GS-D3s. I replaced my Kumhos. I am very pleased with these D3, very sticky and seem to be wearing fine. I have heard that the KDs are not very good in the wet, but these Goodyears are great. You definitely can't go wrong with the Goodyears.

Im not really worried about handling. I would like a tire that it going to give me some grip off the line and last. Overall which is the best when you factor in the two requirements?

Are you going to be driving in the rain? If so then the new GY's are the way to go. If you are strictly going to drive on dry and sunny days then the KD's will do the job.
Thats just my opinion of course if it was me.

F1 GS-D3 launch very very good with minimum wheel spin.

Do to there unique tread pattern, they are great in the rain too.

Great tire, but pricey!

P.S Not noisey like the Dunlops they replaced.

If you want the off line grip why not get nitto DR's. Won't last as long but there also about 120 bucks cheaper a tire for your rears

I have G Force KDWS on my GTP and they work great.I have put about 15k miles on them with alot of burnouts and street racing and they seem to be wearing very well. They're holding up much better than the stock Goodyears and grip VERY well.

So for me street raing the eagle gs-d3's are the best all around tire that will last pretty good while? Right now my tires with plenty of tread will just lay a pacth baout 15 feet long at a 30 mph punch in my a4. and im tires of it and I can come off the line cause they wont hook for ****. And drag radials just arent feasible with how fast the wear out.

Ok, here's the deal. I have a set of KD's right now. They have about 25K on them and I'm looking to replace them soon. I am probably going to get some Nitto shoes (DR's rear, road racers front). When I got the KD's, I loved the way they hooked in the corners but...they are for **** off the line. The sidewalls are too stiff to be any good since they are really designed as an autocross tire in the first place. Don't get me wrong. They are a super tire. They look awesome, too. Having it all to do over again, I wouldn't buy them again. I just cannot justify paying that price again. There lies their only downfall. If they were on the same line as Nitto's, I'd buy them again in a minute. If you're looking for a quick jump off the line/light, you're not gonna get it with KD's. That's just the way it is.

I know you said no DR's but i am waiting for my new tires to get to me. Fronts will be BFG KDWS Rears are nitto dr's. Now the reason total cost $604.00, KDWS's will double the mileage of my old KD's and DR's will probably wear faster than my KD's so in the end it kinda works out even except that if i got 4 KD's again the cost is about $1068.00 and i also get the traction i'm looking for. for alot less $$$$

Only reason Im not considering drag radials is my dad would notice them and racing is definently notcool with him. So whic of the too hook the hardest and if the eagles hook better are they worth the extra money.

i have the F1 GS-D3's and love em, i'll definately be getting another set of them when these wear out, and i'll also get them from the tire rack again because theyre alot cheaper than everyone else, i paid $740 for a set of 275/40/17's, the local Goodyear store quoted me $1,120 including mount and balance. I dont know what size youre looking for, but definately go with these, and check out the tire rack for a good price, hope this helps.

damn i spent $860 for 2 and i repeate 2 315/35/17 michelin pilot sports.thats for mount ballance and road hazard. i choose to go with michelin in the rear because my BFG DR's made me hydro on the highway at 45-50 mph and i slapped the nose of my car into the wall.not too cool so if you live where it rains id go with the goodyears because people that have had them say they hook decent and they like them.
