5 channel amp
10" Sub, and the doors or the mid-bass drivers I have in the sails.
Sub: 150W RMS 4ohm DVC
Doors: 90W RMS 4ohm
Sails: 200W RMS 3ohm
Here's my choices with the amp:
#1 4ohm: 50W x 4 + 200 x 1
#2 2ohm: 100W x 4 + 400 x 1
#3 4ohm Mono Power: 200W x 2 + 400 x 1
Peak Power: 1400W
What's the best combo?
#2 requires 2 ohm speakers, you have 3 and 4 ohm speakers
#3 requres 8 ohm or 2 ohm speakers, again, you have 3 and 4 ohm speakers
but with number one you should be able to get 50W x 4 (probably a bit more to the sails since they are 3ohm) and wire the sub up as 2ohm and you should still get 400W to it (maybe it can take a bit more than 200W, you just have to play around with it)

Plus, usually when you bridge two channels then you need to use a 4ohm load.
I thought that adding other speakers increases ohms.
4ohm DVC in series = 8ohm
3ohm SVC*2 in series = 6ohm
14ohm total?

These would all be on the same channel. (see post #1 for amp specs)
The amp is 2ohm stereo and 4ohm mono stable.
thanks
