You need the OVERdrive alt pulley...http://www.thunderracing.com/catalog...vid=3&pcid=111 I run the asp crank and over alt. pulley on my car. Along with a 160amp alt. I got my alt pully from Thunder and my crank pulley from Speed Inc.

How small is your UDP?
Is voltage low all the time?
When I had the stock alt my UDP did not cause low voltage.

To me that sounds like your alternator is on it's way out.
I upgraded awhile ago to a 200amp alternator and upgraded the big three with 2 gauge wire. My charging system works great!
I did this because my alternator was doing the same thing your is.
