Default Sail panel spk's gone-best replacement choice?

I need a good sail panel speaker replacement for the stock system in my '02 T/A.
I've searched thru the archives but most of the recomendations are to start from scratch and redo the whole shebang.

There were a few threads from awhile back talking about possible replacements but there wasn't a real clear concensus.

I've found a few that may work with the stock head unit, all of these are either 2 or 4 ohm (I'm still unsure which ohm spec is the correct one to get).

Please take a look and tell me if one of these is a good choice or if there is another one I'm not aware of.
Thanks,

your sail panel speakers are mini-subs. you need liek the kicker, ed, bazooka, etc 6.5" subs.

I got some Elemental Designs 6.5" subs. Your sails are bass speakers, so the speakers you listed in your poll won't work. The sails only put out low frequencies. There's a sticky about how many ohms you should have. I'll try and find it

dual voice coil 6.5S (4-ohm + 4-ohm) subs mounted in the sail panels

I just put in a set of infinity kappa 62.9i and they sound very good. Go to an audio store and try them out on a speaker wall. That way you can hear them side by side.

I don't think you guys are reading his post correctly. He wants speakers for the SAILS. The speakers you guys are talking about are for the door pannels. The sails are bass speakers

Went with 8" earthquake sound shallow mounts (sws series) in my sails.
Used an airsaw to enlarge the speaker cutouts to a 7 3\4 in hole. Can be bought in both 2 or 4ohm applications. They also have 6.5 inch versions. Used dynamat to reinforce the sails.
Used foam (in a can) to seal holes in cavity from behind sails. Great bass!!
Look at your factory speaker. My sails were stamped 2 ohm, which is what I needed if staying with Monsoon setup. I opted for 4 ohm, scrapped the Monsoon system. Sounds ALOT better. Made my monsoon setup sound like an AM radio.

Yes they are. The sail panel speakers in T/A's are two way speakers, not JUST bass speakers.

The sail panel speakers in any 4th gen coupe f-body equipped with the Monsoon system has subwoofers in the sails that only produce bass frequencies and sent that signal directly from the Monsoon amp.
If you have full range sound coming from that location (sail panels) and have a Monsoon equipped car that is a coupe, (verts are different) then someone has wired your car up differently and it wasn't GM.
