Default Need an Amp

Hey guys, my Kicker amplifier just crapped out on me today so I'm looking for something to replace it with. I am looking for one that is reasonable price new or used. If you guys can help me out it would be appreciated.

I am trying to stay around $100-$150, I dont know if thats possible or not but thats my goal..lol. As far as power, as long as it has the power to power 4 speakers and sound half way decent thats all I need.

Alright, I will look into them. I was looking at Alpine but they seem pretty expensive and am currently looking into a Kenwood KAC-8404 but don't know too much about them.

If your wanting used try craigslist, can sometimes find some deals, just research what your looking at. Also, test it out before you buy it (assuming your speakers and such are already wired up)

I just put that amp in on my setup, and it is AMAZING!!! The sound quality is really good and it pushes to my 4 (2 door and 2 sail) extremely well. The price is right there and I picked it up on Ebay for $169 shipped. 99Bluz28 is also very helpful and was a great resource and help when picking my amp and setting up my system.

US Amps are great quality and can be had for under $200. I just picked up an m1d1 for $150 and its amazing for my subs. They are also made in the U.S.A.

Right now I am between the Alpine MRP-F300 ($143), the US Amps XT-800.4 v2 ($169), or the Kenwood KAC-8404 ($121). Currently I am leaning towards the Alpine since I have an Alpine Headunit/speakers and have had no issues with them. But want you guys opinions, which would you go with of the three?

As stated before I luv the USamp I got (same model u are looking at) and the quality is next to none. From what I've seen in reviews the usamps are a very good bang for the buck and alpine is a little overpriced for what u get. Sometimes matching the hu and speaker combo is not the best as for amps as you have better choices out there.

Well I got the amp in the mail today and seems like a very nice quality piece. But i dont think my original amp crapped out on me now as the new one doesn't do anything either..

Any advice guys? I have checked all the fuses and they are all fine, the amp is getting power, but nothing is coming from the speakers. The headunit works and lights up, and if I wire a speaker directly to the headunit then it produces noise. If it means anything just before I began having this issue I did an air bag clock spring install, but I dont see how that would effect the amp.. Any help would be appreciated.

Check the remote turn on wire, subwoofer setting on headunitand the Amp. Also are the rca's hooked up correctly on the headunit ,and the Amp?

Nope, it was the remote turn on wire. But, I need another RCA cable because the US Amp has a slightly different set-up then my Kicker so in order to use all four channels I need two RCA cables unlike with the Kicker where one RCA cable worked all four channels.
