8k HIDs all around

8k HIDs all around bought the housings from LMC Truck, and the 8ks from DM Tuning.
Cost about 160 to do it all, but its all PLUG AND PLAY. no splicing, no crimping, nothing. you may WANT to do a bit of wire splicing and what not for durabillity, but you do not have to. I will wrap the connections in electrical tape when i get a moment. If anyone has any questions let me know.

Yes i know, i still need to do some fine tuning at the angle of the lights, but with these housings the light doesn't flare up and blind people.

I'd like to know more about a different housing for the fog lights also since one of mine has corroded thanks to moisture. Also when ordering ballasts are they 35w or 55w? Thinking of doing this upgrade in the future...

i had HID on m mstang and it was **** but i wised up and bought a TA and i know nothing about them, but on DM tunings web site will you need the bulb error eliminators for these cars or is it just the 9005 and 9006 kits for the hi/low and the 880 for the fogs plus the housings from LMC?

So...I'm confused. These AREN'T HID's? You just ordered different temp bulbs and housings? And are they from DM Tuning or DDM Tuning? I got my HID's from the latter, so I just thought you left out that extra D lol.
I ask because I was also thinking that six ballasts would be king of excessive...it was hard to hide the two that I have.

buy the LMC housings and then look for the "HID like" headlights that are different colors and such but true HID is the way to go. plus if you find the colored halagen bulbs they will be as much as the hid kits DM sells

Everyone needs to fully read what was wrote in the first post for ***** sake.
Trans-Ams use Sealed Beam Housings. Meaning the bulbs are "fixed" into the glass housing, when you need a new headlight your forced to get a totally new sealed beam unit.
SO what the OP did was buy the HID kits from DDM tuning. Since his headlights (low beams and high) are sealed, his new HID kit would not work and he needed new housings so he went to LMC and got the new low beam and high beam housings.
His bulbs from his HID kit will twist right into place and viola he has HID headlights. The fog lights are 880 bulbs and they are not sealed beams. There is no way to get a HID light without getting HID bulbs. HID bulbs require the Ballast to function.

yeah thats what gathered but then other people confused me by saying just get the bulbs not ballests lol.
I dont think it would be that hard to hide six ballests im sure I can find a way to do it. plus wires can always be extended to hide it wherever you please. I think my first two mods are going to be upgrading the headlights and the squential tail light mod. Then i will do the engine wire mod and hide all the wires I can before i drop my built ls2 in.
