Default What amp for a Skar Audio vvx-8?

Bought a sub for my Silverado SS because the factory Bose system wasn't doing it for me. Anyway I went with an 8 because this is my daily driver and I just want it to sound good. I'm already to that age where loud and annoying isn't that cool anymore and hearing sheet metal vibrate and rattling bolts loose isn't appealing anymore. Have heard tons of good on this sub also so figured I'd try it out. So anyway what amp can anyone recommend? Trying to keep it less than $150.

Anyway this will be going into a sealed box with .97 cu. ft. air space I found on Ebay. Cheaper than anywhere else and looks to be good quality.

Here is the sub and it's specs.

that looks like a pretty stout 8"!

Did you get the dual 2 or dual 4 coils? That'll help when we look

I'm kind of liking the Audiopipe mini amps if someone could recommend one of those. Their price is looking really good to me and they don't have lights all over them. Plus the small size is appealing also.

I would recommend AQ750, MRP-M500, APSM-1500. APSM-1500 will be enough at just 4 ohms, but will leave room to grow for another sub. It's also the cheapest.

My brother had recommended this one since it is a dual 2 ohm sub. In case you can't tell, I am not an audio person.

You could use that amp, but I would buy one with more power. Those vvx subs can handle more power than the listed rms. I would go with the audiopipe mini amp I recommended. Just watch the gains on the amp. How are you going to use a 10" sub box with an 8" subwoofer?

lol Wrong link. I'll edit that now. Anyway yea he said that amp would be perfect as far as price and power. Like I said he is the guy into that stuff so he knows more than me. I just wanna stay around my budget and still sound good.
