Where would the best place to run the power wire for my amp? Anyone have any advice or secrets they could share? Thanks!

from what I've read, most people run it thru the same grommet that the wires for the computer come up through, from what I've read you unbolt the computer from the inner fender so you can shift it out of the way and you will see a large group of wires going thru the firewall, that is where most run there power wire.

^^^ That is along the lines of what I did to mine. Kind of a pain but did my best to hide my wire. Run in my fender like if I did the wire-mod and hid the rest under the carpet and panels of course.

theres a grommet on the pass side. if you remove the pcm under the hood and its tray, youll expose it. it comes out just under the dash inside the car and you can easily run it back from there.

look up the auto trix window fix guide and itll show pics of where to find the grommet exactly. thats how i found mine

I drilled a hole on the driver side for mine and just attached the power wire to the main stud on the fuse box. It is only a smaller amp however so if you're running something bigger you'd want to run directly off the battery.

for lower powered items I ran mine off the "red" bolt on the fuse box. It can be utilized for a pretty clean install.

Should be able to pick it up from any local car parts store, or places like Best Buy that do stereo installs. Should only be a couple dollars or so.

Through firewall. Remove seat and do it right under the carpet. It's clean.
