Mine went out! 9k mile car, dont think CD player was ever used, but some how it's not working!
Tried to clean lazer, no luck. Tried just about everything. So it's the driver.
Anyone?

You could also go the double din rout unless your looking for the stock look. I did mine for about $200. My cd player still worked but I like this look better. Got the double din at walmart. Cd player, bluetooth ect.

Does the radio itself work when the cd player is dead? Maybe it's the bcm issue and you can get out of it pretty quick and cheap.

There's a website that sells ReplacementRadios but I don't know if they're a sponsor. I've dealt with them in the past and they sell whole units, and I believe replacement CD mechanisms for some systems.

I got sick of my aftermarket deck sounding like ***. I picked up a NOS Monsoon unit off eBay for $89 and added an aux input box to it. I can PM the sellers info to you if you like. He did have CD units too.

Search "mp3radio" on eBay. He sells rebuilt stock head units with and AUX input added to the face. I bought one of these 8 years ago and everything still works on it. Great alternative to having to put an aftermarket head unit in.
