High quality butt connectors Looking to buy a selection of high quality butt connectors, insulated and non insulated. Just wondering what’s recommended for good quality brands. A lot of the stuff on Amazon has very mixed reviews.

Dont have to be from Amazon, I can buy from anywhere that will ship, just looking for good quality.
Give me an example of what you think is a "butt connector". Or maybe describe what you're trying to do.
I don't know whether you mean an electrical connector or a splice? And what wire sizes?

I’m repairing someone else’s poor wiring, I have to remove a section of frayed wire and connect two 12g wires together for fans.
If you just want to permanently splice the wires then you can use Amplivar splices and cover and strain relieve the wire with sealed, dual wall heat shrink. They are dirt cheap and produce an excellent crimped splice. They can be crimped using a common Metri-pack crimper.

Do you live near a marine supply? They have the best stuff and carry full lines of product. (Boat owners need this stuff as it is required by regulation for proper boat wiring.
