Default 2000 TA, Got solid Turn Signal lights

I got the solid turn signal lights on dashboard and don't here the clicking. Went and bought bulbs, didn't install them yet. Looked on YouTube stated the flasher. Rear lights are on, have to double check DRLs. Hazards work. So, does the signals go solid when a bulb is out? Could just be the flasher...correct? Going to buy flasher now.

Yes, it could be the flasher... but it could also be a burned out bulb. Turn on the hazard flashers and then walk around the car to see if any bulbs are not flashing. If so then replace those bulbs and try your turn signals again.

Just replaced the DRLs. Is this normal? Do they do this when they expire? They are pretty old. Just wondering cause they both went out at the same time with the flasher as well. Fishy to me. Wondering if its water that caused this or something I don't know about that made em explode. Looks like they exploded. Or does the glass bulb just start to fall apart when they expire? Got a funny feeling I might see this again in a day or two, week or month again.

Water on a hot bulb can cause them to shatter. Are there any cracks or melted spots on the housings? I replaced my housings years ago and installed amber LEDs because they were damaged.

Replace with LED bulbs. Good chance your housings have a crack in them.

Thanks for the info dudes. What's the housing... the thing they plug into? Had my tech change cause I can't get underneath. He didn't say anything, except some water. Workin fine so far....knock on wood.

The bulb plugs into a plastic corner light housing. Mine had a crack across the lense from the heat of the bulb.

Every time I've had a cracked or shattered bulb it was due to water getting into the housing. Water + hot glass = shattered mess

The housing is the actual plastic turn signal assembly (lens & reflector).

Here is an example.
