Default Connector that plugs into CAGS solenoid

I have found the part number for the wire harness connector that plugs into the skip shift solenoid. It can be plugged into the transmission's solenoid to keep dirt and water out when using a resistor to eliminate the "skip shift" function.

I am wondering if anyone can find the mate to this connector so that we can build our own weatherproof eliminator using a 2.2K resistor.

The Harness end is: #12052646 2 Way Metri-Pack 150 Series (WH)

I believe this is considered the Male end. Can anyone come up with the part number for the Female end?

look the way I see it you can buy the .30 cent resistor and the harness to do the mod or just buy the preharnessed CAGS weather sealed harness for $19.99 and call it a day. The extra lunch money spent is well worth it IMO.

I bought my skip shift eliminator here:

Can't beat the price either.

Just get a balloon and wrap it around the connector with a wire tie and RTV. I've done that before.

$16 shipped is by far the best price I have seen. Most of them are $20-$40 plus $5-$10 to ship it.

For that price it's not worth it to buy the connectors. I guess I can replace my taped resistor in a few days when it arrives.

Thanks

why not use a resistor but not install it under the car.

You can cut the feed wire somewhere else...near the computer for example. You only need to add a resistor in the circuit. It doesn't have to be under the car.
