Default SubThump rack question. did search.

I read that you have to make your own brackets to mount the rack to. Is this still true or has it been fixed since then. That would kinda suck to pay $75 for one and have to custom make your own brackets to put it on. Thanks.

Its pretty much your choice how to install it, There is no kit for it, so yeah still need to figure out your own method of installation.

Well that's pretty crappy. A custom made rack that you have to customize to put in. That sucks.

Yeah I still have the PM, thanks. But buying a used one isn't going to solve the problem of mounting. I'll look into what all it takes to mount it, I was hoping for something I could just put right in. If all else fails I'll mount everything infront of the t-top holders up on the hump. Really don't wanna do that though.

Wow, I looked at what I guess are the directions for install. They were on a cardomain web site. Anyone know of a better write up of how to install it. A mokey could have made better instructions. Man I hope this thing comes with some instructions and not just a piece of paper that says go to this website.

There are many ways to do it. Best bet is to ask around on other boards too, see what every one else did.

Thanks. I ordered one, hopefully it won't be to painful. I'm sure I can figure something out once I see it in person.

It was really easy i think i used like a 3/4 inch piece of wood cut in about a 2"by2" sqare and drove screws through that into the metal (where it is hollow) then attached the amp rack to the "Squares"

That's what I was planning on doing but I wanted to see it first to make sure I could do that. Thanks.
