SGS/Fog Light switch wiring?
I want to wire up a fog light switch and a SGS switch to other things... interior lighting and something else. Played around with them, but couldn't get anything figured out. Anyone have a wiring diagram for these switches?

Pin A and Pin E are basically the on/off switch
Pin F will give you LED power. . .

Yes, but depending on how you wired the switch, you may have to ground the short end of the green wire coming from the switch. You are correct, the green wire provides ground for the factory fog light circuit through the highbeam circuit. When the highbeams are on there is power (rather than ground) on that wire so the fog lights go off. This only applies to Camaros - Firebird fog light switches are wired a little differently.

You need to cut the green wire near the switch but you only need to ground the switch side of the wire if you want the ON indicator light to go on when the switch is on.
If you cut the yellow wire then the relay under the hood isn't doing anything.
Maybe you could explain what you're doing. I thought you were adding a second fog light switch to control your rear lights. But it sounds like you were just tapping into the existing switch instead. In that case there would be no reason to rewire - you should just draw the power from the fog light relay instead of the switch.

I have these lights... wired into the factory fog switch (the original)...I used Yellow for the power and the ground for ground. They work perfect as is but when I flip the brights they also kick on at what appears to be a low voltage even when the switch is off. Currently the Yellow going out to the relay is cut but I have the yellow from the switch running the hotside of these lights.

So, your factory fog lights no longer work. You're getting backfeed from the highbeam circuit through the ON indicator portion of the fog light switch and out to your accessory lights. Cut the green wire to prevent this from happening. If you want the ON indicator light in the switch to work when you use your accessory lights then you will also need to ground the end of the green wire that goes to the switch.

Very old post but just curious if I cut the green wire to the factory wiring will the fog lights stay on when the high beems are on?

Not quite. Look in the Lighting FAQ for instructions.
