I have had it so I get a solid green before on one side and all I did was replace a bulb (dealership did, was when I was getting matienence work done), but I have never had it that both sides are solid. Is this the same thing? Anyone else have any ideas?

The same thing happened with my car a while back, and the turn signal relay was the culprit. Replace the relay and see if it fixes your problem. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" />

I'm not sure where the relay is exactly because my brother in law replaced mine while he was borrowing my car. I think it's under the dash, in the center part behind the radio. I wasn't there when my brother in law swapped relays, so I didn't see where it actually was. Sorry.

I'm having the same thing with my car right now, neither turn signal blinks.
Problem with mine is the front 3157 bulbs are both burnt out. I just put in clear corners, and my new APC hyperwhite bulbs lasted 1 day.
Damn APC bulbs. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Mad]" src="gr_images/icons/mad.gif" />
However, the 194s I put in are also APC, and they seem to be OK.

I am having the same problem too. Heres what I've found so far: On my 98, the blinker indicator on the dash is sticking. Of course, whenever this happens, the first thing that should come to your mind, is that the turn signal light bulb is out. There are four of them. However, I turn on my hazards, and the lights work. The back lights turn on when I turn my turn signal on, but not the front at all, but I know its not the bulbs, cause the hazards work. The next possibility, and the thing most people will say to check next is the flasher. The flasher is an aluminum round piece (about an inch in diameter and thick) located actually behind the fuses. You get to that by unscrewing the lowest plastic cover thats on the bottom of the dash on the drivers side. Only four screws and it hitched in with plastic tabs, so don't rip it right off when all the screws are out. The flasher is on the far left, like I said, by the fuse box. Its got a clip thats attached to small plastic wall kinda area. Either of these two things should help most turn signal problems. However, I've done both and my front turn signals STILL don't work! Any further suggestion after this. I'm beginning to think its something seriously electrical, not cool!

Hey sorry for this, but I just read another post from another F-body thread and big props to "95TransAm" who posted this picture, which should help. I actually didn't even know this, but the location I described was the flasher for the hazards, there is another one seperate for the turn signal. The trans am is real close to the camaro, so look at the picture and check it out. Hope this helps!

OK, we've got a lot of incorrect information floating around here. First, if one side flashes but the other doesn't then there is no way it is caused by the flasher. Both sides use the same flasher. The side that doesn't flash has a bulb burned out or a bad bulb socket. Turn on your hazard flashers and walk around the car looking for the bulb that doesn't flash. Replace that bulb. If that doesn't solve the problem then check that same position for a corroded socket, broken wires, or bad ground. If all that checks out then it is possible that the turn signal switch in the steering column is bad but that is a rare occurance.

Now, if neither side flashes then there's a very good chance that it's the flasher. Our cars have separate flashers for turn signals and hazards. The turn signal flasher is clipped to the underside of the dash just to the right of the opening when you remove the knee panel under the steering column (as in the picture above). You can get a replacement flasher at any auto parts store for around $3 for thermal or $8 for electronic.
