Default Taillight problem- need new light bulb/harness fixture for 94' Trans Am

One of my taillight bulbs will only light up the upper filament with the brakes or lights on- if you turn the lights and brakes on, then it cuts off completely. I've tried different bulbs, but I've determined it's either wiring or the harness you put the bulb in.

Any idea where I can get one of these for my 94 TA so I can splice it on? It said on the fixture F.L.29.14, dunno if that is the part number or not.

Your local AutoZone or NAPA will have replacement sockets with pigtails.

napa should have it. I went to one of their stores today and this store had everything I needed. Give it a shot.

Thats funny, I had the same exact problem about a week and a half ago. Got some parts and installed them and now it works just fine. Good luck.

Trust me, you will find the parts at NAPA, AutoZone, or even Pep Boys. They aren't specific to your model of car - they're just generic GM taillight sockets available in straight or right-angle (you'll need the right-angle ones). You may have to be careful how you explain what you want depending on the knowledge level of the guy at the counter. The last time I asked for taillight sockets at Pep Boys the guy went to the tool section looking for some special socket.

Sorry but posts like this kinda get under my nerve. Original poster was asking for a part number.

Here you go for members future needs. It's an LS94. Cheaper off eBay (search ls94 socket)but the Napa equivalent part number is: (non-sponsor link deleted as per forum rules)

Wow, you signed up to bring up a thread that's more than ten years old to tell us that the OP asked for a part number when the question was actually "where can I get one"? I could be wrong but I suspect that he already found a replacement socket.

thread is incomplete and yes I assumed he found one. it still doesn't help others to say "go to napa." I provided the part numbers and an actual link to napa for completeness. that's all.
