http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Xenon...95902754QQrdZ1

Just looking for something better than stock(stock ls1 is tons better than lt1) dont' want to blow 300 on HID"s.

Are these safe?

Those are just regular bulbs painted blue. They won't be any brighter, just whiter/bluer (due to the tint, which actually reduces output).

If you really want brighter bulbs and not just blue tinted ones, try to find GE NightHawk or Phillips VisionPlus.

Here is a good link on bulbs:
http://www.danielsternlighting.com
The products section has some good descriptions:
http://www.danielsternlighting.com/p.../products.html
Scroll down for the descriptions. That site doesn't have bulbs for a Camaro, but the information is still useful. There is also a FAQ section, but its currently down.

Also, for which car are you looking to buy bulbs?

your not gonna find any bulb's that are really worth a ****.. most bulbs like the silverstars arent much brighter(some are dimmer than stock) and almost all of them blow out quick, especially the ones with transluecent blue paint.. if it was my money I would keep the stock none colored ones, and save up for some HID's

So there is nothing better, silverstar is pretty good about giving replacment and/or sounds like you got some bad ones new.

I bought a kit for my LT1 to replaced the sealed beams. The blue xenon bulbs with the kit were supposed to be 65 and 80 watts respectively. I couldn't believe how higher wattage bulbs could give less light than the old yellowish sealed beams but they do. I can barely see a glow on the pavement from them. I'm going to save up and try the Silverstar Ultras in the hope of getting something a little better than stock. These Xenon blues were a step backwards.

Fixed. I hate it when people call it Advanced, or worse, Autozone. (I work there, btw)

I've had Silverstar Ultras in my car for about six months now, and I'm very pleased. They are 300% better than the stockers. They illuminate the road and the side of the road a whole helluva lot better than anything else besides HIDs that I've seen yet.

Actually, on dark country roads, I don't use my brights anymore, because the Ultras project just as far, and also light up the sides, so I can see if any deer are thinking about jumping out. I guess that I need to upgrade the brights to Ultras.
