SIRIUS....Are you serious?!!!
So....friend got an offer in the mail for a free SIRIUS radio....(he's been a member since day one) and he gave it to me. I opened the box up and it only has a power-cord (gonna swap THAT out cuz I don't wanna use the cig lighter) and an antenna........But where's the **** that connects the reciever to the radio? ....IF i need to buy wires to make that connection,......what the hell am I looking for? The manual actually doesn't refer to it!
Oh,.......and its a "SIRIUS One" Looks a lil dinky compaired to the other models but I actually like it. It doesn't draw attention and that s what I like about it!
Thanx for any help!

You can just set the sirius radio to broadcast to a frequency that no other radio station uses in your area.
The only problem is that the signal isn't as clean as it could be.
Crutchfield.com should be able to get you the modulator you need with out much of a problem.
There are other options you can buy to improve the connection. There are wired FM modulators that eliminate the interference and improve the sound quality to about the same as a strong local FM station. And there are adapters that allow you to connect the satellite radio through the CD changer port on the back of the factory radio. They give the best sound although it's still not CD quality because of the compression used (like MP3s).
If you need the GM-AUX9 adapter, I have one for sale $50 shipped. And it is plug and play.
I have both a wired FM modulator and a GM9-AUX. The GM9-AUX sounds much better.
BTW...
I've had some on/off issues over the past year with my headunit occasionally failing to receive sound from the GM9-AUX. At least I think the problem is with the headunit. Its working now and has been for a couple months. I'm not the only one with this problem, but it appears to be a rare issue. Its my third heaunit too. The last two were replaced under warranty for the screen displaying garbage characters.
Here is my setup:

(The XM receiver is not visible like in the pics, its hidden in the spare tire well.)
