I believe the 62.7's are the 2 way speakers, I might be wrong. The 62.7's should be in the sail panels and the 60.7's component setup should be in the doors.

Uh...no.

You shouldn't put coaxial speakers in the sail panels unless you rewire because the factory setup has subs there and the signal is low-pass filtered by the Monsoon amp. So installing coaxials is a waste since only bass will be produced - and those Infinity speakers are not known for their bass reproduction.

The doors in Camaros don't have the separate tweeter mounts like your Firebird so installing that component set will involve finding a way to mount the tweeters.

DO NOT use these:

Only reason is because they only have one input instead of the 2 sepreate inputs on the kappa's, one for the highs and one for the mids/lows. Other than they are almost identical to the Kappa's just a different cone material.

I had those for like a year, they were good and all, but one blew on the stock amp. that wasnt so much as bad as the fact i just didnt like them that much. I have the typeR coaxs (model SPR-17C) now in the sail panel and i like them much better. still atoffered at BBY and we sell alot of those, they are great speakers. only about $50 more

I have the CDT CL-61CV that is perfect for the Camaro doors. They wire up like stock with 2 seperate wires for the tweeter and the midbass. They are components that have a mount in the center for the tweeter like a coaxial.

VERY versatile. You can get these for $129.00. These will sound way better than the Infinities for midbass and the silk tweeters are less harsh. They will also last with 100watts rms power handling through crossovers. 80watts rms without the crossovers. I have these in stock ready to ship!!
