MP3 Player through the stereo.
MP3 Player through the stereo. Can a MP3 player be used through a CD deck in the car? I have a SanDisk Click and wonderd if I can hook it up through my Panasonic CD player in my TA? Wasn't sure if people have done this with a ear jack or some other cable. I don't have the USB on my system. thanks

If your Panasonic deck has an auxiliary input then you just need a simple patch cable to connect the headphone jack on the MP3 player to the AUX jack on the head unit.
they also have fm transmitters if you dont have an aux, but most after market decks have it

No, the wireless FM modulators should only be used as a last resort. They are noisy and get lots of interference from local broadcast stations. The next step up is a wired FM modulator which plugs directly into the antenna cable and eliminates most (if not all) of the interference. Still, you'll get the best sound by using the head unit's auxiliary input if it has one. Most of the better aftermarket HUs have this feature.
Ok, I'll check, I have the inputs for the two amps I'm using already in use and I'll see if I have a extra slot for my MP3 player. Crutchfield looks like they carry many adapters so maybe they have one I could buy? Thanks.

What model of Panasonic is it? Neither PAC (Pacific Accessory Corp) nor PIE (Precision Interface Electronics) carry changer port auxiliary adapters for Panasonic head units so you may be out of luck unless it has a built-in auxiliary port.

Verdad Gallardo I have a JVC deck I forgot sorry, Crutchfield sent me a link just now and I order a adpter that they say will work in my CD changer slot and run the mini earphone jack to my MP3 player and it'll work that way. here's the link.
