Great video! Car sounds great. Great job!!!
I am assuming you havent had it tuned yet? Sounds like you are lean on idle. Sometimes with a bigger cam they have to fatten it up just a bit to keep em from surging. This may also help with the start up.
Is that you on the video playing the guitar?

Stan, I had the same issue and did some reading here on LS1Tech.
This lead me to a drilled hole I found in the throttle plate, courtesy of the prev owner. After placing a small screw in the hole to seal it, the car starts right up with no more hesitation....just a thought.

Yes tsnow me on the guitar, just screwing around!it's running open header with a 18 inch pipe at the end so the o2 sensors wouldn't be to close to the air outside!I gave street and performance all my cam info as well as injector size!who knows if they tuned correct, they forgot to turn vats off so I'm not to sure!

Great job and congrats! Mine runs okay without the crank learn, but I am planning on having it done when I get the tune. I think it helps the computer detect misfires.

still having problems with idle of the car,i can go to start the car and it idles fine, but if i put in gear it wants to die easy.the second time i have to start the car it doesnt want to start have to use gas pedal to get it started and it still wants to die.i really wonder if street and performance put the correct tune in for my cam and for my 36lbs injectors..i also need to look into the crank position learn, havent found much good info on that!!!i been checking for code, the only thing i get is a po650 code which is a malfunction indicator lamp (mil) what ever that is..any idea guys?

Your car looks great! The only time I have heard of the term MIL it had something to do with the oxygen sensors. I am not smart at all on the electronics end of these engines yet. Have you browsed the diagnostics section on this forum?

did you install a MIL Light? did you use a LED for the mil? the PCM needs to see a resistance across the mil circuit to detect a good/blown bulb. If its missing, or an LED, it will set the code, it needs to "see" an incandecent bulb's resistance.

I am glad someone that knows these things answered cause I sure as heck dont. Thanks Matt! I was going to use an LED but after that response I may use one of the existing bulbs from the original idiot lights.
