Yeah I second the thanks on the battery information. I will have to make up my mind in the next couple of weeks. The AGM gets rather expensive as you move up in the cranking amps. It seems if you could get by with the smaller batteries the cost is less and the size is alot smaller. Alot of information to think about.

Wow, your car is coming together real nice. I was wondering the total est cost of your conversion. I know you aren't completely finished. I am in the works of starting my 68 SS/RS muncie 4 speed to LS1 T56 swap. I have a few Lsx , So I know what they are capable of.
Good Job..

You and me both! I just checked the ohms of the Ford fuel pump and it is 15-165 so when I get the Dakota digital gauges I will know what to program in. I am seeing daylight from the other projects so you better hurry up if you want to beat me to the finish line. I wish you the best of luck and with your attention to detail I dont think you have anything to worry about.

Oreillys has a system with the tubing and filter for $135-$145. I think it is 4" and has an elbow. I am out around $45 for the tubing and couplers and $25 for the filter. Half price and solid as a rock. Everyone that has come by didnt even notice the tubing until I pointed it out. As soon as I asked if they knew what it was they all guessed it right. They said they would have never noticed it had I not said something. Its seems as if it will make for good insulation against the engine compartment heat too. I havent glued mine yet as I am unsure at this point if I am going to remove the washer bottle and run the air filter into the void between the fender and the inner fender with some kind of plate to further block out heat. It will prolly run quieter that way too, not that is a good thing as I like noise!!!

Yeah I tried the PVC,just to big for my stock throttle body!!I also have a drip on the seal from my trans where I replace the tail housing for the mechanical speedo !look like that will have to come back apart to,prob just use that black RTV on it!
